Today, experience one of the highlights of your East African adventure with a choice between Mountain Gorilla Trekking or Golden Monkey Tracking in Volcanoes National Park. Accompanied by expert guides, explore the park's lush forests and enjoy close encounters with these remarkable primates in their natural habitat.

Gorilla Trekking: Enter the dense rainforest in search of a habituated gorilla family. The trek can take anywhere from one to six hours depending on the location of the gorillas. Once located, you will spend a magical hour observing these gentle giants as they feed, play, and interact with one another.

Golden Monkey Tracking: Alternatively, venture into the bamboo forests to track the endangered golden monkeys. These energetic and playful primates are known for their striking golden-orange fur and entertaining acrobatic displays.

Nyandungu Ecopark is a restored wetland ecosystem that serves as a peaceful retreat within the city, featuring walking trails, birdwatching opportunities, and beautiful views.

The remainder of the day can be spent exploring local markets, art galleries, and cultural centers or simply relaxing at your hotel.

Kigali is renowned for its cleanliness, safety, and vibrant cultural scene. Visit the bustling local markets to shop for traditional crafts, artwork, and souvenirs, or explore the city's contemporary art galleries and museums.
